Abstract

Provided herein is a device for generating an asymmetric double well system. The device includes an oscillator; a parametric drive arranged and disposed to bifurcate the oscillator, creating a static effective double well; and an additive drive arranged and disposed to create an asymmetry between the wells. Also provided herein is a method of generating a double well system using the device.
